Fractalius — плагин для Adobe Photoshop, который позволяет из обычных фотографий сделать необычные изображения, а порой даже и фантастические картины — на основе фрактального алгоритма. С помощью него можно также имитировать различные типы световых эффектов и карандашных набросков. Получение эффектов основано на извлечении так называемой скрытой фрактальной текстуры изображений. Плагин работает как с 32-битной версией Adobe Photoshop, так и с 64-битной версией. Поддерживает последнюю версию Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Fractalius plugin creates unusual, eccentric artworks in a single step. The effects are based on extraction of so-called hidden fractal texture of an image. You can also simulate various types of exotic lightings and high realistic pencil sketches. Most of the example images are only an indication and don't show what Fractalius can really do. The two images at the bottom of the page give you a better idea of the actual results. Hopefully my examples will inspire you to try Fractalius out for yourself.
