VirtualBox – это программа для создания виртуальный машин. Путем выделения ресурсов компьютера создает отдельную виртуальную систему с собственными ресурсами, и, что самое главное, с собственной операционной системой. К примеру, на компьютере с операционной системой Windows вы в два счета можете создать виртуальную систему, под которую выделите определенные ресурсы и установите Linux. Или, наоборот, на компьютер, работающий под управлением Linux установить Windows. Программа поддерживает установку операционной системы либо с диска, либо из файла-образа. Все очень просто и не вызовет серьезных трудностей даже у начинающего пользователя. Остается добавить, что программа абсолютно бесплатна и распространяется на основе открытых исходных кодов.
