Vopt - дефрагментатор для операционных систем Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, имеющий несколько режимов работы: быстрый, безопасный (с сохранением важных данных перед их дефрагментацией), простой и профессиональный (с проверкой системы и удалением ненужных файлов). Считается одним из самых старых дефрагментаторов, его первые версии работали под MS-DOS. Програма имеет ряд дополнительных функций для чистки дискового пространства — удаление временных файлов, чистка кэша браузеров, автоматизация процесса дефрагментации и другие. Также в Vopt, равно как и в большинстве современных дефрагментаторов, встроена система защиты от потери дефрагментируемых файлов в случае сбоев (например внештатное отключение питания). Changes from 8.18 to 9.0

- Doubled maximum partition size to 16 TB (when formatted normally with 4096 byte clusters). For drives formatted with 512 byte clusters (very inefficient!) the maximum is increased to 2 TB.
- Added drag and drop.for moving individual files to new disk locations from any of the "Clusters" or "Usage" windows. Note that this can be used to defragment single files.
- Improved defragmentation and packing engines.

- Added "Usn journal mangement" function. The $UsnJrnl metafiles are a database created by the Indexing and Windows Messenger services. $UsnJrnl can become very large and fragmented and cannot be moved or defragmented.

Основной функцией программы Vopt является дефрагментация диска. Интерфейс имеет привычный вид, отображая карту диска и «легенду» разметки кластеров. Поддерживается дефрагментация в трёх режимах. В зависимости от режима, увеличивается качество дефрагментации, соответственно и время выполнения операции. Возможна дефрагментация файла подкачки. Встроенный планировщик позволяет выполнять дефрагментацию по расписанию. Присутствуют в программе и дополнительные функции: проверка жёсткого диска на предмет ошибок, и возможность их корректировки, удаление конфиденциальных данных (история посещений страниц, cookie и т.д.), преобразование системы раздела из FAT в NTFS, очистка диска от ненужных файлов.

Дополнительные возможности:
- очистка системы от "мусора" (temp-файлы и прочего),
- изменение размеров файла подкачки и кэша,
- показ происходящих в системе процессов, ресурсов и т.д.
